The story of Forum cafe starts in the Saviour Sq. (plac Zbawiciela), where it used to have its first location. For a few years, the cafe was a neighbor of the Comedic Club (Klub Komediowy) but two years ago it moved to the North Downtown (Śródmieście Północne) to a calm and a bit sleepy street Elektoralna. You can easily get here from the John Paul II Av. (aleja Jana Pawła II) or from the metro station Ratusz Arsenał in the Bank Sq. (plac Bankowy). At first, you will spot a pink neon sign with the cafe’s name in the window that invites you to see the interior. Forum is a cozy place, with two bigger rooms, kept in warm colours. Though we got white walls the ceilings are pink and there are green details like the window frames, radiator or pipes. Finally, we get the wooden colours of the wall benches, flour and a simple counter. Behind the counter, you can find a friendly and helpful stuff that helps you to find the right options from the short menu. The best choice is to try Aeropress. Sławek Saran, the owne, is a Polish barista champion (you can find his trophies at the cafe). If you don’t drink typical coffee you can also get some tea or their original drinks (with or without coffee). For the summer months, they make an ice-cream based on freshly brewed every morning espresso.
